Care for your pet’s skincare needs with PetMedic: we teamed up with Dr. Christine McKinney Zewe, DVM, DACVD to offer much-needed veterinary dermatology in Watertown, Massachusetts. The dermatological practice is open during the week and does not overlap with PetMedic’s urgent care services.

- Comprehensive management of allergic skin disease, including medical management, allergy testing and immunotherapy, and food allergy management
- Treatment of bacterial skin infections, including methicillin-resistant and multi-drug resistant strains

Our Team

Meet Dr. McKinney
Dr. McKinney comes to PetMedic with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She attended veterinary school at Louisiana State University (LSU), and stayed at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine to complete a year-long internship in Companion Animal Medicine and Surgery. She subsequently completed her residency in Dermatology at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and was accepted as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2017. She has been in private practice in the New England area since completion of her residency.
